 Silica Matting Agent (for Paint)   Gasoloid Matting agent(Gasoloid is the Matting Agent’s production way) is a type of  synthetic  chemical, amorphous silica dioxide, that has strong porosity and purity. Silica dioxide is one of the most substance in the world,but from chemical or physical character, Gasoloid silica dioxide is most different from the nature silica dioxide.Through their character, we found the synthetical silica gel is good to the further application because of the powder shape structure, including the coating, gloss adjustment on the cloth, anti block of the film, activator’s carrier etc. Our BV805 gasoloid matting agent can special use in the high grade furniture paint.   Gasoloid Matting agent charater a) Porosity   It can be adjusted by man on the Gasoloid’s porosity, therefore, the different grades of gasoloid is manufactured by man, means we can control the size of the pore. Why matting agent have different kinds of absorption? Because it has the porosity and the different size of pore on the basis types. b) Formation and surface treatment of Matting agent  The gasoloid matting agent surface is covered by hydroxyl(-OH), its inner contains 2.5% - 3.0% weight of hydroxyl, this percentage is decided its quality grade. Hydroxyl(-OH) has strong hydrophilcity and easy to form the hydrogen bonding combination, those both have a react group of hydrogen, for example,hydroxyl or amino. Silica dioxide also have selective molecular, they have strong polarity.
