UV-531 is UV absorbent, the chemical name is 2-hydroxy-4-n-octoxy benzophenone . Chemical Data: 1.Appearance: Yellowish spicula crystal powder 2.Content: ≥99% 3.Melting point: 47-49oC 4.Grey ash: ≤0.1% 5.light transmission: 450nm ≥90%, 500nm ≥ 95 Character: 1. It can absorb the 240-400nm wavelenth 2.Good heat stable, it doesn't change when it meet the heat, low heat volality 3.Good chemical stability, and will not have bad reaction with Other chemical material; 4.Good compatible, and can distribute evenly. 5. No color, no smelly and nontoxic; 6. Extend the time to turn yellow and physical charater losing. 7.Good light stability. Application: 1.Can be widely used in the plastic, coating, bonder, paint, cosmetic, medicine etc. 2.Good application for PE,PP,PVC,PS,PC organic glass.
